(It would have been a brick at 1 1/2 hours.) But chocolate syrup and ice cream really moistened it up : ) Thanks for baking with me this week. - CarolThe Bake Morehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05767558013250457214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4746759345944336164.post-87399141246377225622011-05-03T14:05:47.520-04:002011-05-03T14:05:47.520-04:00I covered mine with a foil tent and baked it even ...I covered mine with a foil tent and baked it even longer than the 1 hour + 20 minutes. It was a little dry around the edge, but not so much that was a bother. I think oven temperatures are imprecise and maybe your's also baked a little long after it came out of the oven. More experimentation needed!Peggy the Bakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08437385739831067145noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4746759345944336164.post-88323449572760444992011-05-03T12:11:07.395-04:002011-05-03T12:11:07.395-04:00I made chocolate mint, too. I had to cover my cake so it didn't get too done, plus I am dealing with an oven that isn't maintaining temperature very well.Nicolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02983766793524336826noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4746759345944336164.post-2967844184658063642011-05-03T07:40:54.299-04:002011-05-03T07:40:54.299-04:00Soory to hear this isn't waht you'd hoped....Soory to hear this isn't waht you'd hoped. Mine was fine but I did bake it less time than Dorie said. The top is very brown and I covered it midway through.Chats the Comfy Cookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10008058551840309390noreply@blogger.com
